Hotel Benchmark sets the standard for direct channel benchmarking with new added features to empower your marketing strategies.

In a December 2020 study of independent hotels, 80 DAYS uncovered a significant shift in guest purchasing behaviour during the pandemic. Direct bookings rose 17% compared to 2019, making a hotel website’s performance more important than ever.

Introducing calendar reporting

Users of Hotel Benchmark can now access even greater data using calendar reporting to view the last 7 days, last 30 days or last month as well as picking specific data periods. For users familiar with Hotel Benchmark reports, the data period and competitive sets can also be updated within the report, to gain faster and easier access to data.

Resilience to outliers

We have changed how we calculate your benchmark average to make sure that one hotel having a great week does not throw your benchmark off. For any metric, your hotel benchmark now shows the middle value from your competitor list to give you a better idea of where the market is at the moment.

Adding Aparthotels

Responding to requests from apart-hotel managers and owners, Hotel Benchmark is now pleased to welcome Aparthotels to the community with a dedicated category. Apart-hotels can now benchmark themselves against other similar properties within this category as well as against hotels from our hotel categories.

Upgrade to premium reporting and you can compare more metrics across your hotel’s website and digital marketing performance, as well as enjoy the ability to define your own competitive set. We have also significantly increased the amount of data available to you to full two years.
